Tubular Level Gauge

Tubular Level Gauge or Level Indicator is a simple, yet effective device that helps in measuring direct reading of liquid levels in atmospheric tanks, pressurized tanks, panels and similar vessel.

This is connected with the tank in parallel through thread or flanged connection so that the tank liquid seeks out to the gauge indicator. It comprises a glass or acrylic tube, Gauge Valves with ball check arrangement and Tube Protection Guards with 360-degree visibility.

FAQ

Tubular level gauges are widely used in:

  • atmospheric storage tanks
  • low pressure pressurized tanks
  • chemical dosing panels
  • utility vessels and water tanks
  • small process vessels in industries

They are perfect when direct visual level confirmation is required without any electronics.

Tubular level gauges are preferred in many applications because they:

  • provide direct and instant level indication
  • require no power supply
  • are cost-effective
  • simple to install and operate
  • easy to maintain
  • offer 360° visibility (depending on installation)

They are ideal for basic level monitoring and backup indication.

360° visibility means the tube is protected with a guard design that allows the operator to view the level from different angles, improving readability and operator convenience—especially when used in panels, skids, and compact process areas.

Petronash tubular level gauges are available with:
Borosilicate glass tube – high clarity, better temperature resistance, widely used for industrial applications
Acrylic tube – lightweight and impact resistant, suitable for less demanding services

Tube selection depends on application, environment, and safety preference.

Petronash tubular level gauges are available with:
½”, ¾”, 1” & 2” process connection sizes

End connection type can be:

  • threaded
  • flanged

This flexibility helps match different tank nozzle sizes and project standards.

Petronash tubular level gauges are designed for:
Pressure rating up to 1.0 Bar(g)

This makes them suitable for atmospheric and low-pressure vessels, panels and utility tanks.

Petronash tubular level gauges support:
Operating temperature: -10°C to 85°C

This covers most common industrial and utility requirements.

Petronash provides wetted parts in:
SS316 / SS316L
Other material options can be offered based on service conditions.

This improves corrosion resistance and compatibility with a wide range of liquids.

The gauge valves with ball check arrangement provide additional safety by:

  • restricting uncontrolled liquid release in case of tube failure
  • improving operational safety during maintenance
  • enabling isolation of the gauge when required

This makes tubular level gauges safer and more reliable for plant operations.

Petronash uses dual sealing (PTFE & Viton) to ensure:

  • leak-free sealing even during minor thermal expansion
  • better chemical resistance
  • longer service life
  • improved safety and reduced maintenance

This is a key feature that enhances reliability compared to standard single sealing.

Petronash tubular level gauges are designed for ease of tube replacement, allowing maintenance teams to:

  • isolate the gauge using valves
  • remove the tube safely
  • replace with minimal downtime

This reduces service time and makes routine maintenance convenient in industrial facilities.

Petronash tubular level gauges are trusted because they offer:

  • robust SS316/316L wetted construction
  • strong safety design with ball check arrangement
  • dual sealant leak prevention (PTFE + Viton)
  • clear 360° visibility
  • customization in tube material and connections

They are reliable solutions for industrial level indication needs.

Yes. Petronash can customize based on:

  • connection type (threaded / flanged)
  • nozzle size and center-to-center distance
  • tube material (glass / acrylic)
  • wetted material upgrade based on process liquid

This ensures compatibility with project specifications and site conditions.

Absolutely. Petronash supplies tubular level gauges:

  • as standalone level indicators, and
  • as part of complete packages such as dosing skids, utility panels, and process skids

This supports easy integration and consistent quality in packaged systems.
