Hydraulic Interface Valve

Hydraulic Interface Valve is a two position, three-way normally closed block and bleed pilot operated hydraulic controller. The product is designed to automatically block the incoming hydraulic supply pressure and bleed the outlet supply pressure in conditions where applied pilot supply pressure is relatively low.

FAQ

“Block and bleed” means the valve can perform two actions at once:

  • Block: Stop (isolate) the incoming hydraulic pressure supply
  • Bleed: Release (depressurize) the outlet pressure safely

This is a critical safety function in hydraulic control systems, especially for shutdown operations and fail-safe logic.

Petronash hydraulic interface valve is:
3-way, 2-position
Normally closed
Pilot operated

This configuration makes it ideal for systems requiring automatic pressure isolation + venting under low pilot conditions.

The valve works based on pilot pressure logic:

  • When pilot supply pressure is adequate → the valve allows controlled hydraulic supply to the outlet.
  • When pilot supply pressure becomes low → the valve shifts position, blocks the inlet and bleeds the outlet, ensuring the downstream line is depressurized safely.

This prevents accidental hydraulic actuation or unsafe pressure holding.

When pilot pressure drops:
Incoming supply is automatically blocked
Outlet pressure is automatically vented/bleeded

This feature ensures fail-safe operation, making the system safer and preventing uncontrolled actuation of valves or hydraulic equipment.

Petronash hydraulic interface valves are designed for high-pressure applications with inlet/outlet pressure options:
200 Bar(g)
414 Bar(g)
690 Bar(g)

This makes them suitable for both moderate and high-pressure hydraulic control circuits.

The maximum pilot pressure supported by Petronash hydraulic interface valve is:
10 Bar(g)

This makes it easy to operate the valve using standard pilot signal supplies used in control systems.

Hydraulic interface valves are commonly used in:

  • Wellhead Control Panels (WHCP)
  • HPU (Hydraulic Power Unit) control circuits
  • Offshore shutdown systems
  • Pipeline valve actuator hydraulic control
  • Safety instrumented hydraulic systems
  • Block and bleed logic circuits in oil & gas

They are widely used wherever controlled isolation and venting is critical.

Standard process connection provided is:
¼” NPT
Other connection sizes can be provided on request depending on project requirements and system design.

Petronash hydraulic interface valve is designed for:
-10°C to 120°C

This wide range supports onshore and offshore operating environments.

Petronash provides:
Stainless Steel body (SS 316L) for durability and corrosion resistance
Viton sealing for high pressure and high temperature endurance

This results in longer service life and stable performance under harsh conditions.

Yes. Petronash hydraulic interface valve is compatible with various hydraulic fluids. Since hydraulic fluids vary in viscosity, additive chemistry and temperature behaviour, Petronash recommends confirming suitability with technical support for best seal compatibility and long-term performance.

Petronash hydraulic interface valves are engineered for critical control systems, offering:

  • reliable block and bleed function
  • high-pressure ratings up to 690 bar
  • SS316L construction
  • Viton sealing for harsh service
  • customized connection options as per project need

They are ideal for safety-driven oil & gas hydraulic control applications.

Yes. Petronash can customize:

  • process connection sizes
  • pressure ranges (200/414/690 bar)
  • materials and sealing options
  • integration compatibility for WHCP and hydraulic panels

This ensures proper fitment in project-specific hydraulic circuits.

Absolutely. Petronash can supply hydraulic interface valves:

  • as standalone valves, or
  • integrated into complete systems like WHCPs, HPUs, hydraulic skids, and control panels

This reduces multiple vendor dependency and ensures system-level reliability.
